Run a Collection cycle

Collection is designed for the requested-documents workflow — tracking what evidence you've asked for and what's been received.

Request documents

Create document requests specifying what you need from the client. These appear as pending items in your Collection.

Good document requests include:

  • Clear description of what's needed
  • Reference to the account or transaction
  • Date range if applicable
  • Priority level

Monitor Collection statuses

As documents arrive (via SharePoint sync or manual upload), their status updates. Use the status filters to see what's still missing.

Tracking workflow:

  1. Create requests for all needed documents
  2. Share the request list with the client
  3. Monitor the Collection for incoming files
  4. Follow up on missing items
  5. Move ready documents to Workspace for testing

Move ready docs to Workspace

Once documents are ready, you can:

  • Use directly from Collection — Documents are accessible in Collection for any job
  • Copy to Workspace — For better organization during active testing
Best practice

Use Collection as your master repository and Workspace for documents you're actively working with. This keeps things organized and makes it easy to track what's been received.
